Agnes, aged 12 years
Agnes is the twin sister of gertrude, who is also sponsored by Girl Child. She is a double orphan whose parents both died when she was very young - she can hardly remember them. Her grandmother took her to the orphanage because she couldn't support either of them. Agnes doesn't know if her grandmother is still alive. She can read and write well but does need help, which GOCA will provide.
