Cynthia, aged 9 years
Cynthia is Docas's younger sister, and just 9 years old. She was attending Grade 3 in a local community school and came top of her class last year. Now she is at GOCA she has the opportunity to get the attention she deserves in a smaller class with better resources. When she grows up she wants to become a teacher like her older sister so that she can help other children in school. She enjoys cleaning the house and loves playing football. Before coming to ‘Every Children’s Hope’ her grandmother was caring for her but couldn’t manage to look after her properly.
