Edna, aged 12 years
Originally from Chikumbe village, Edna was taken by Every Children’s Hope after her grandmother came to the project looking for help. Another ‘double orphan’, Edna is just 12 years old. She is currently in Grade 4 and is doing very well in class despite never going to school when she lived in the village. She wants to help her family by going to college one day and hopes to be a preacher when she is older.
