Nelly, aged 9 years
Nelly used to live in a compound called Mtendere with her mother. Due to a high rate of poverty, her mum has been unable to provide food and other basic needs. She moved to Every Orphan's Hope where she could be supported and have the chance to go to school. She feels she has fallen behind because of the high numbers in her old class, but is keen to catch up at GOCA so that one day she can become a pilot. She loves to read books, especially story books.
